Ahmed Fayaz is a dynamic entrepreneur with over 25 years of industry experience in the Maldives. As the Managing Director of Fedo Pvt Ltd, Fayaz has been instrumental in shaping the company’s strategic direction and driving its transformation into one of the leading construction firms in the country. His visionary leadership has positioned Fedo as a trusted name in the development of high-impact infrastructure projects characterized by contemporary visual aesthetics, meticulous planning, and effective project management. Fayaz’s entrepreneurial journey began at an early age, where he honed his business acumen through hands-on experience and a commitment to continuous learning. These foundational years cultivated a deep understanding of the local business landscape, which he has since translated into actionable strategies for Fedo’s growth and diversification.

Under his stewardship, Fedo has expanded its portfolio beyond construction to include hospitality, real estate, and trade— demonstrating his ability to identify opportunities and adapt to evolving market dynamics. His forward-thinking approach has led to sustained revenue growth and business expansion, enabling Fedo to thrive in a competitive environment. Fayaz enabled Fedo to establish prudential business practices, effective governance, and strategic stakeholder engagement. Ali Wasiu is a versatile entrepreneur and Executive Director of Fedo Pvt Ltd. With extensive experience in the construction and infrastructure sector, Wasiu has cultivated a strong foundation in project management, overseeing logistics, finance, and administrative operations with precision and strategic foresight. This was pivotal for its success and expansion as Fedo came into inception with a humble begining. As a co-founder of Fedo, he has been a driving force behind the company's success, playing an active role in guiding its evolution from a modest venture into one of the country’s most reputable and trusted names in construction.

Wasiu is deeply committed to strengthening the company's financial resilience and risk management. At Fedo, he effectively contributed to the implementation of prudential practices, promoted compliance with financial regulations, and maintained close engagement with financial institutions and regulatory bodies to ensure transparency and accountability. Wasiu plays a key role in fostering successful supplier relationships both local and international, to create competitive value to Fedo to attain its competetive strengths His leadership fosters a corporate culture grounded in integrity, efficiency, and long-term value creation.

Before entering the construction industry, Wasiu began his professional career at the National Security Service (now the Maldives National Defence Force), where he developed a strong sense of discipline, integrity, and professionalism. These formative experiences continue to influence his approach to leadership, business ethics, and strategic thinking which he contributes to Fedo in developing a professional team.

Wasiu remains a central figure in Fedo’s ongoing growth and success, bringing vision, resilience, and dedication to every project and initiative the company undertakes.

Anil Adam serves as Executive Director – Strategy and Governance on the Board of Fedo Private Limited. He contributes to strategic direction, governance oversight and long-term decision-making while supporting the development of policies, delegated authorities, performance frameworks and institutional controls. Since joining Fedo in 2019, he has contributed to feasibility studies, corporate ventures, brand development, investor relations and the expansion of the company’s interests across construction, property development and hospitality.

Anil brings two decades of experience across corporate strategy, governance, tourism, higher education, capital markets, communications and business development. His career includes serving as a governance and development consultant to a state-owned enterprise, Deputy Minister of Tourism, a national broadcasting board member, a capital-market regulatory executive, a higher-education dean and lecturer. This diverse background provides him with a strong understanding of public policy, commercial operations, stakeholder expectations and institutional decision-making.

He holds an MSc in International Business Management with Marketing from Heriot-Watt University, UK, and a First-Class BA (Hons) in Marketing with Events Management from University of Birmingham, UK. He has also published articles and papers on corporate governance, strategic planning, capital markets, tourism and economic development. Guided by integrity and evidence-based decision-making, Anil supports stronger Board-led governance, organisational accountability and responsible growth, helping Fedo build institutional capability and create sustainable long-term value for its stakeholders.

Mariyam Yasha Fayaz serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Fedo Private Limited. In this role, she contributes an objective perspective to Board deliberations and supports balanced decision-making, accountability and responsible corporate governance. As a Non-Executive Director, she contributes to the board proceedings impartially, challenge assumptions constructively and contribute to decisions that protect the long-term interests of the company and its stakeholders.

Yasha is currently pursuing her higher studies at Sunway University. Her continuing education reflects a strong commitment to personal development, contemporary knowledge and lifelong learning. Through her academic journey, she continues to strengthen her analytical abilities, critical thinking and understanding of the evolving business environment. This exposure complements her Board responsibilities and supports her ability to consider organisational matters from a broader and forward-looking perspective.

Through thoughtful participation, careful consideration and a willingness to learn, Yasha contributes to Fedo’s transition towards stronger Board-led governance. She supports the company’s emphasis on integrity, transparency, sound judgement and responsible growth while bringing a fresh perspective to strategic discussions. Her presence strengthens the diversity of thought within the Board and contributes to a more inclusive decision-making environment. As Fedo continues to grow and institutionalise its governance practices, Yasha supports well-considered decisions aligned with the company’s values, stakeholder responsibilities and long-term direction.

Ahmed Naseem serves as Executive Director – Administration and Legal and is a member of the Board of Directors of Fedo Private Limited. In this capacity, he contributes to the Board’s strategic direction, governance and decision-making while providing executive oversight of corporate services, administration, contracting, legal coordination and client relations. Working closely with fellow directors and the management team, he helps ensure that Board decisions are translated into disciplined action and that Fedo’s essential support functions operate efficiently, responsibly and in alignment with the company’s objectives.

Naseem brings more than two decades of experience across private-sector business management and local administration. He previously served as Council Head and Assistant Director at Haa Alif Kelaa Council, gaining valuable experience in public administration, stakeholder engagement and institutional coordination. His diverse professional background has developed his ability to manage complex organisational matters, navigate administrative and regulatory requirements, resolve operational challenges and build constructive relationships with clients, authorities and other stakeholders.

He has completed professional training in administration, management, human resources and project management, reflecting his commitment to continuous learning and effective leadership. His combination of practical experience, sound judgement and organisational knowledge enables him to contribute meaningfully at both Board and executive levels.
